Perry Schneider is a litigation attorney with 20 years of experience representing clients throughout the state of Montana and surrounding areas. PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Perry is a native Montanan whose family history predates Montana statehood. Perry and his wife, Kathy, have three daughters; Mikayla, a college soccer player; high schooler Darien; and Amalee, who is in elementary school.


Representative Cases

  • Coleman Construction, et. al. v. Kudrna,
    2006 MT 98, 332 Mont. 112, 136 P.3d 970. Counsel for landowner alleged to have caused a fire that destroyed plaintiff’s property. Obtained a defense jury verdict, client was awarded attorney fees under Montana’s Landlord-Tenant Act. The award was upheld by the Montana Supreme Court.
  • Good Schools Missoula, Inc. v. Missoula County Public School Dist. No. 1,
    344 Mont. 374, 188 P.3d 1013 (2008). Counsel for a private school in an action by citizens' group alleging the county school district breached a fiduciary duty in the sale of school building. Obtained dismissal by the District Court; affirmed by the Montana Supreme Court.
  • Wilson v. High Stakes, Inc.,
    DV-04-0855. Counsel for bar owner whose alleged negligence resulted in a patron being injured in a fight. Obtained defense jury verdict after less than 20 minutes of deliberation.
  • Florea v. Schneider National Carrier’s, Inc., et. al,
    CV 08-52-M-DWM-JCL. Lead counsel representing a large national trucking company involved in a multi-tractor/trailer accident on Hwy. 95 causing significant injuries to plaintiff. Obtained a jury verdict apportioning the lowest percentage of liability among the five trucking companies involved in the accident.
  • Ironwood Mfg., Inc. v. United Stationers Supply Co., Inc.,
    CV-04-131-M-DWM. Lead counsel representing local manufacturer of office furniture against large national wholesaler in claim for breach of contract. Obtained jury verdict for the amount demanded by client at settlement conference.
  • Hart v. Missoula Saws, Inc.,
    CV-11-00128-DWM-JCL. Lead counsel representing local business alleged to have caused injury to plaintiff in an automobile/pedestrian accident. Obtained favorable jury verdict in an amount equal to 1/3 of client's offer of judgment.
  • Everts v. Gallatin Const., Inc.,
    CV-108-165M-DWM. Lead counsel representing local contractor against claims of construction defect. Obtained favorable jury verdict in an amount less than client’s offer of judgment.
