Chapters of the United States Bankruptcy Code (Chapters 7, 11,
12 & 13). The firm does representation of both secured
and unsecured creditors and investors in all types and sizes of
business, real property, agricultural and personal bankruptcy
cases.
We have served as
counsel to creditors, creditors' committees and informal groups
of creditors. The firm represents corporate debtors in
reorganization and or liquidation cases under the United States
Bankruptcy Code. In addition, the firm counsels
individuals, companies and other enterprises seeking to
reorganize their business affairs outside of formal bankruptcy
proceedings. The firm represents both creditors and
debtors in negotiations of workout agreements as well as in
state court litigation including receivorship cases.
We have successfully
argued 9 of 10 appeals in front of the 9th Circuit Court of
Appeals in appeals originating from decisions of the Bankruptcy
Court for the District of Montana.
